OK, this is the big one. You are all used to playing by email, why do I have to be different? Playing directly on the website has a lot of advantages, primarily the archive function. All MLs played here are there to refer to as long as this website is online. I’m sure you know the difficulty of trying to keep an email for a long period of time. Furthermore, I do believe that the days where one is able to send out emails to a large number of people is going to end sooner or later. If that is the case, then the pioneer work I am doing is important for the future of the game.

I find it difficult to access the website

I have done a lot of work on this site over the last few weeks after realising that a number of people were not able to access the page. I have stripped it of all funstions that aren’t important, and the page should load faster now. However, it must be said that modern websites are not made for dial-up, that is the sad fact…

Why do I keep getting emails from the Mystery Lyrics Website?

You shouldn’t be. The only mails you should be getting from the site are mails to notify you of the most recent Mystery Lyrics, and that is once a month. There have been problems over the last couple of weeks that emails have been going out that shouldnt have been. I hope I have this problem under control now and apologise sincerely for any disturbance

Can I format my comments?

Yes, the comment box has the usual icons that you know from AOL where you are able to use bold, italic and underlined text as well as ordered and unordered lists. You can choose your font color and the background color. In fact you can do almost everything that can be done in AOL

Can I add pictures to my comment?

You can add images to your comment that are on the Internet. Just click on the tree icon on the comment bar and add the URL into the popup box that appears.

how do I find out the URL of the graphic?

Right click on the image and choose “Copy Graphic Address” (or something similar – my software is in german…duh!) and paste into the pop-up box – easy

Why can’t I Upload pics from my desktop?

Because the respective plugin for this function costs $97, money I don’t have at present. If you want to sponsor me with this, by all means, feel free
